Nevada Announces $400M Sandoz Settlement Over Generic Drug Price Manipulation
Nevada Attorney General Aaron Ford announced a $400 million settlement with Sandoz Inc over allegations that the generic drug maker conspired to inflate and manipulate prices, reduce competition, and unreasonably restrain trade across numerous generics. He said 43 states agreed in principle to resolve the claims; if approved, Sandoz would pay $469 million, with amounts for Medicaid and other state agencies, and Nevada’s total yet to be determined.
