Neurocrine Receives FDA IND Acceptance for Phase 2 Alzheimer Study of NBI-1117567
Neurocrine Biosciences received U.S. FDA IND acceptance for a Phase 2 study of NBI-1117567 for Alzheimer’s cognition. The oral muscarinic M1 preferring agonist is being advanced through a multi-program collaboration with Nxera, which retains development and commercialization rights for M1 agonists in Japan. Neurocrine is responsible for global development costs and will make a US$10 million IND acceptance milestone payment to Nxera.
