Nestlé to Sell Vitamins and Supplements Business for $1 Billion
Nestlé will sell its mainstream vitamins, supplements and minerals business for $1 billion to Boston-based private equity firm Yellow Wood Partners. The deal covers seven mainly U.S.-based brands, including Nature’s Bounty and Sisu, with prior-year sales of $1.2 billion. The brands also operate in markets such as Canada and China as the company refocuses on core categories.
