Nestle CEO Backs Stricter Food Labeling as Transparency for Consumers
In support of India’s FSSAI crackdown on misleading food labels and claims, Nestlé global CEO Philipp Navratil urged proactive transparency so customers understand ingredients and what they consume. He said Nestlé already discloses all ingredients, including calories, in India and welcomed consumer curiosity. Navratil said the company would collaborate if asked and noted interest in healthier options.
