Nestlé and Platinum Equity have agreed to establish Peranel, a new 50:50 joint venture combining Nestlé’s global waters and premium beverages businesses into a standalone company focused on the category. The portfolio spans 30+ brands in 120 countries, with completion expected in the first half of 2027, subject to employee consultation and regulatory approvals. The deal values Peranel at €4.9 billion and is expected to generate about €3.0 billion in cash proceeds for Nestlé.
