NCLAT Rejects DoT Claim in Rolta Insolvency; IIFL Reaches 3,000 Gold Loan Branches
NCLAT dismissed the Department of Telecommunications’ appeal challenging the resolution plan for debt-ridden Rolta India, noting the plan had already been approved and implemented. The DoT had sought unpaid licence-fee dues of Rs 469.09 crore. IIFL Finance also said it has crossed 3,000 gold loan branches, expanding access for financial inclusion in tier-2, tier-3 and rural areas to support MSME lending.
