Navigator Holdings Q2 profit jumps as freight rates rise in 2026
Navigator Holdings posted net income of $53 million in Q2 2026, up from $21.5 million a year earlier, as operating revenue rose 29.5% to $167.9 million. Higher freight rates were supported by price arbitrage and record ethylene exports from Morgan’s Point. The company secured $164.6 million in pre-delivery term loan financing and arranged $205.8 million in long-term JOLCO post-delivery financing, and agreed to sell eight gas carriers and its Unigas stake for about $183 million.
