Baobab Studios will expand its transmedia slate after receiving a strategic investment from Naver Ventures, the U.S. arm of NAVER and parent of WEBTOON Entertainment. The move targets new projects spanning Asia and North America, including “Shine,” which launches on WEBTOON alongside a print graphic novel while Baobab retains film, TV, streaming and gaming rights.
