Naver Shuts Down Services and Invests in AI, Commerce Growth
Naver is streamlining its portfolio by shutting down underperforming and slow-growing services, including VIBE and video platform Naver TV, and shifting resources to AI, commerce and digital infrastructure. It is reallocating momentum toward AI Tab and Clip, and plans AI factory capacity growing from 55 MW in 2027 toward 1 GW, supported by a $1 billion Nvidia strategic investment and Brookfield as a preferred partner.
