Naver founder Lee Hae-jin met Brookfield CEO Bruce Flatt at Naver’s headquarters in Seongnam for follow-up discussions on the AI factory project. Both sides expressed appreciation and pledged deeper cooperation to expand Naver’s AI-related infrastructure. Under the 1 GW plan, Brookfield agreed to invest up to US$9 billion for a first 200 MW phase via an SPV, with Nvidia also participating through an agreement to buy Naver shares.
