Naver Cloud consortium selected for sovereign cybersecurity AI model

Naver Cloud’s consortium was selected by South Korea’s Ministry of Science and ICT to build a sovereign AI foundation model for cybersecurity, aimed at fitting Korea’s security environment as AI-driven threats rise. The consortium will use up to 256 Nvidia B200 GPUs supplied by the government, plus 4,000 B200 GPUs from Naver Cloud and 256 H200 GPUs from LG, training two models on about 830 TB of data from cloud providers and critical infrastructure operators.
