NatWest gains US Federal Reserve approval for Connecticut representative office
NatWest is rebuilding its US position after UK ringfencing rule changes. The bank received US Federal Reserve approval to open a representative office in Connecticut to liaise with US customers. It already runs a US-licensed broker-dealer in Stamford for institutional trades. The move follows NatWest’s renewed growth agenda after full private ownership and its £2.7bn Evelyn Partners acquisition.
