Multi-State AGs Seek Tough Remedies After Live Nation Antitrust Case
More than 30 state attorneys general rejected a federal antitrust deal as inadequate, continued litigation, and prevailed. The states now pursue remedies against Live Nation and Ticketmaster, including limits on Live Nation’s ticketing reentry, restrictions on Ticketmaster’s exclusive contracting, ongoing compliance monitoring, and proposals up to full divestiture. The DOJ settlement alone does not end broader litigation risk.
