Mitsui & Co and OMV enter a multi-year agreement to source e-methanol from the Kassø PtX plant. The fuel is positioned as having a significantly lower carbon footprint than fossil alternatives and meeting the EU’s RED III requirements for road transport. Kassø’s e-methanol facility, inaugurated in May 2025, has annual capacity of 42,000 metric tons.
