Mitsubishi Electric to build facilities for GCAP fighter electronics

Mitsubishi Electric plans to build three facilities to produce electronic systems for Japan, Britain and Italy’s Global Combat Air Program fighter. The CFO expects the project to start contributing to earnings around fiscal 2029–2030 and said the company will be compensated for personnel and prototypes. Canada will observe, while other partners may join without delaying the 2035 rollout.
