Mitsubishi Electric plans to wholly acquire MEDCOM, a Polish manufacturer of electrical equipment for railcars and electric urban transportation. The group will hold all MEDCOM shares, pending regulatory approvals, with expected completion in the first half of the fiscal year ending March 2027. MEDCOM’s equipment supports propulsion control and power electronics, including products using Mitsubishi Electric silicon carbide devices.
