Mitsubishi Electric Donates ¥44.16M to Help Kumamoto Earthquake Victims

Mitsubishi Electric says its Group will donate a cumulative ¥44.16 million through its SOCIO-ROOTS in-house matching-gift program to support people affected by the Kumamoto earthquake. Employees contribute ¥22.08 million, which the company doubles, bringing total aid to a disaster volunteer NPO activity support fund (borasapo, 2026 Kumamoto earthquake). A separate ¥50 million corporate donation was also announced.
