Missouri American Water Acquires Neosho Water and Wastewater Systems
Missouri American Water acquired the City of Neosho’s water and wastewater systems for $34.5 million, adding about 5,400 water and 5,400 wastewater customers. The company plans to invest roughly $35 million over five years, modernizing facilities, replacing aging mains, adding smart leak-detection technologies, replacing the Buffalo Creek lift station, and replacing lead and galvanized steel service lines.
