MiniMed Begins U.S. Shipping MiniMed Flex Insulin Pump With Instinct Sensor

MiniMed is rolling out its new MiniMed Flex insulin pump paired with the Abbott-made Instinct sensor, which can be used for up to 15 days. The Flex system received FDA clearance for type 1 diabetes ages 7+ and certain type 2 patients. Medtronic began shipping the combined products in August after a phased rollout, supported by a major marketing campaign and informed by its 2027 growth forecast.
