Microsoft Deploys 25 AI Agents Across Supply Chain to Cut Costs
Microsoft says it has deployed more than 25 AI agents and related applications across its supply chain. Built on a foundation started in 2018 with an Azure supply chain data lake, the agents support demand planning simulations and identify freight charge discrepancies using natural-language prompts. Microsoft claims the tools saved Dow millions, without independent audit, and expects to run more than 100 agents by end-2026.
