MHI Compressor to Supply Turbomachinery for Shintech PEP-2 Ethylene Plant

MHI Compressor International Corporation was selected to provide turbomachinery for Shintech’s PEP-2 project, a new 625 KTA ethylene plant in Plaquemine, Louisiana, with operations expected to start in 2030. The facility will supply ethylene for Shintech’s VCM manufacturing, supporting integrated production growth. The equipment will be delivered through MCO Hiroshima and MCO-I Houston, expanding the company’s presence on the U.S. Gulf Coast.
