Dubai Aviation City Corp. awarded a contract to a consortium including Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, its MHI Mobility Engineering Services unit, and Larsen & Toubro for a nine-station automated people mover in the first phase of Dubai’s Al Maktoum airport expansion. MHI and its subsidiary will lead design, procurement, testing, and overall system integration as the wider project targets capacity for more than 260 million passengers annually.
