Metso will build a new service facility in Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais, to strengthen its South American portfolio and support existing customers with repair and maintenance services. The company says it has invested about €45 million in modernization projects over the past two years and highlights a large installed base of around 20,000 Metso units, alongside prior expansions in Chile, Brazil and Peru and a new office in Argentina.
