Metso will acquire Valmet’s hose and cavity pumps business, marketed under the Flowrox brand, to add pump technologies for abrasive, corrosive, viscous and crystallising slurry applications in mining. The deal value is undisclosed and is expected to close on 1 October 2026, with the offerings integrated into Metso’s pump portfolio and rebranded as Metso. Metso said the financial impact won’t be material.
