Metso has signed an agreement to acquire Valmet’s peristaltic hose pump and progressive cavity pump technologies to broaden its slurry-handling offering for mining and industrial customers worldwide. The deal value was not disclosed, and Metso says it is not expected to materially affect financial performance. The products currently operate under the Flowrox brand and expand Metso’s slurry toolkit and lifecycle services.
