Meta’s AI agent uses Muse’s former social media handles

Meta’s newly released AI agent, Muse, now uses social media handles previously controlled by the English rock band Muse, including @Muse. Fans had earlier noticed changes such as the band’s Instagram shifting to @museband, while the band also moved off @Muse on X. Meta allows username changes on Instagram but says it doesn’t allow buying or selling handles, even though trading can occur via shady channels.
