Merck and Moderna Report Phase 3 Success for mRNA Melanoma Vaccine With Keytruda
Merck and Moderna reported that a personalized neoantigen mRNA vaccine (intismeran) added to Merck’s Keytruda slowed melanoma recurrence and spread in a late-stage randomized Phase 3 trial. Used after surgery as an adjuvant therapy, the results—without full detailed data yet—could support a stronger oncology treatment approach and potential longer survival for patients.
