McKesson to Buy Precision Medicine Group in $2.25 Billion Oncology Deal
McKesson said it will buy privately held Precision Medicine Group for about $2.25 billion to strengthen higher-growth businesses. The Bethesda, Maryland company provides clinical research, lab testing and commercialization services, and will move into McKesson’s Oncology & Multispecialty segment when the deal closes, with no completion timeline. McKesson also plans to sell a $1.25 billion minority stake to Apollo to help fund investments like this.
