Maruti Suzuki India expects regulators to strike the right balance between compliance and affordability, aiming to keep safer, cleaner mobility within reach. CEO Hisashi Takeuchi said compressed biogas can leverage India’s cattle dung and agricultural waste, potentially curbing stubble burning and improving air quality, while supporting rural employment. MSIL says three cow-dung biogas plants are already operating and more projects are planned.
