Mahanadi Coalfields Files IPO Papers, Plans OFS of Up to 66 Crore Shares
In FY2026, Mahanadi Coalfields produced 218.31 MT of coal, about 22.40% of India’s non-coking coal output and 28.3% of Coal India’s overall production, per the DRHP. Anchored in Odisha’s Talcher and Ib Valley coalfields with ~106.76 billion tonnes of resources, the reserves could last around 45 years. As of June 30, 2026 it ran 17 mines, with opencast making up over 99% of output, and revenue rose to Rs 8,033.7 crore.
