Moller-Maersk reached an agreement to acquire project forwarder Martin Bencher Group to expand its project logistics handling capacity. The deal is valued at US$61 million post-IFRS 16 lease liabilities and is subject to regulatory approvals, with a likely closing by year-end or first quarter next year. Martin Bencher is asset-light with a 170-strong workforce across 31 offices in 23 countries.
