Maersk Shifts Services Back to Suez Ahead of Full Red Sea Routing

Maersk has moved three services back from the Cape of Good Hope route to the Suez Canal since July, and is preparing for an eventual full restoration of Red Sea routings. Management expects limited pricing effects but a cost benefit from shorter sailing distances, while using a phased approach to avoid bunching at European ports and worsening existing bottlenecks.
