Maersk is sending major Triple E vessels back through the Suez Canal as Red Sea routes reopen, with the Mathilde leading a northbound convoy. The 19,076 TEU, methanol-capable ship is on a voyage toward the Far East, including an inaugural Suez transit after Maersk and Hapag-Lloyd rerouted services in the prior period. The Suez Canal Authority recorded 57 passing ships that day.
