LVMH Completes Sale of Marc Jacobs to WHP and G-III
LVMH has completed its roughly $925 million sale of Marc Jacobs to WHP Global and G-III Apparel Group. WHP will lead a 50/50 joint venture holding the brand, while G-III will support the JV and run wholesale, retail, and e-commerce. Marc Jacobs’ founder remains creative director and the brand’s face, as the operating business with 100+ stores in the U.S. and Europe transfers to G-III.
