Lufthansa plans a large fleet upgrade using Starlink satellite internet, starting with its first equipped Airbus A320neo (registration D-AINM). By the end of 2026 it expects to add 10 more Starlink aircraft, and the program runs through 2029 to connect the group’s combined fleet of about 850 aircraft. Starlink use on Lufthansa flights will be free for all passengers.
