LS Electric and GE Vernova signed an agreement to form a joint venture tentatively called Grid X Technology. The partnership will collaborate on South Korea’s voltage source converter–based HVDC projects, supporting the transfer of renewable generation from the southwest to the Seoul area and combining component supply to pursue the global HVDC market.
