Eli Lilly’s weight-loss and diabetes pill Foundayo (orforglipron) starts selling in UK pharmacies from Monday after MHRA approval earlier this month, offering an oral alternative to injection-dominant GLP-1s. It is authorized for weight management and type 2 diabetes via private prescription, but is not yet available on the NHS while Lilly works with NICE. Citi data also show uptake so far versus Novo’s Wegovy.
