LIC has subscribed to Bajaj Finance’s ₹5,000 crore nonconvertible debentures through a private placement, taking five lakh NCDs of ₹1 lakh face value each. The instruments carry an 8.15% annual coupon and a 3,653-day (10-year) tenure, with first coupon due Aug 27, 2027 and maturity on Aug 27, 2036. Proceeds will be used for general business, including repayment, capital expenditure and working capital.
