LG Energy Solution began production at a new 226-acre manufacturing facility in Lansing, Michigan. The plant is backed by more than $5 billion invested in Michigan since 2010 and is expected to support competitive wages and benefits for workers of varying education levels. With strong clean-energy and EV manufacturing emphasis, the company projects 80% of its global ESS capacity will be in North America by year’s end.
