Levi Strauss discloses cybersecurity breach via social engineering attack
Levi Strauss disclosed a cybersecurity incident in which an unauthorized third party used a social engineering attack against three employees to access and extract some corporate information. The company says it has contained the issue and launched an investigation. Business operations were not disrupted and no material impact on financial results is expected amid a broader wave of ransomware-style cyberattacks.
