Leidos Seahawk and Sea Hunter Demonstrate Navy Autonomous Capabilities
Leidos’ Seahawk was the first mission unmanned surface vessel to deploy with a carrier strike group, operating within a strike group’s communications and command-and-control environment during RIMPAC 2026. Sea Hunter traveled autonomously over 2,000 nautical miles, demonstrating autonomous surveillance and manned-unmanned teaming, with its autonomy software supported by more than 200,000 nautical miles and 14,000 safe operating hours.
