Lawsuit alleges Thermo Fisher forces religious compromise in 401(k)
Andrew Hartley, a Thermo Fisher statistical science director, sued in federal court claiming the company unlawfully forced him to compromise his Christian beliefs to receive full employment retirement benefits. He says he requested a fossil fuel-free 401(k) investment option under Title VII protections and is testing the limits of the Supreme Court’s 2023 Groff v. DeJoy ruling.
