A California man filed a proposed class-action against Apple, alleging iCloud+ marketed privacy benefits falsely, including claims that iCloud Private Relay would hide users’ IP addresses and protect unencrypted traffic in Safari. The suit says WebKit flaws let websites access real IPs even when the premium feature is on, and that iOS updates in 2025 and 2026 bypassed Private Relay.
