Lam Research Receives Tax Deal for $620M Tualatin Expansion Project
Lam Research will support its Tualatin expansion by paying partial property taxes for 15 years after negotiating $45 million in community service fees and $27 million in payment-in-lieu terms with Washington County and the city. Tualatin is set to receive about $33 million over the SIP period. The $620 million TUX Project, aided by a $22 million Oregon CHIPS Act grant, was approved Aug. 10, while residents raised concerns about property taxes and noise.
