L3Harris Completes First Batch of F-16 Viper Shield Systems

L3Harris has completed production of the first 35 Viper Shield electronic warfare systems for F-16 aircraft. The company says systems are now in production for eight allied nations as it ramps up toward full-rate manufacturing of 233 units. Viper Shield is software-defined, compatible with earlier F-16 variants, and intended to detect, identify, and counter electronic threats.
