L&T Wins Order for 6 GWh BESS Projects in the Middle East
L&T’s renewables vertical has won an order for three Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects in the Middle East, totaling 6 GWh of 4-hour storage each. The systems are designed to store and dispatch power to improve grid stability and renewable integration, supporting grid modernisation. L&T also created its Renewable EPC business from 1 September 2024 to support green financing and partnerships, with projects requiring safety, quality, and performance controls.
