Kuantum Papers shares rose 2.90% to Rs 74.21 after the company successfully restarted Paper Machine-3 (PM3) at its Saila Khurd facility in Hoshiarpur, Punjab, on 26 August 2026. The restart followed a major technological upgradation and rebuild with trials, including a top former, film press, improved automation and enhanced drying. Upgrades aim to improve quality, efficiency, product range and throughput, supporting higher-value and specialty paper expansion, while Q1 June 2026 net profit fell 48.34% to Rs 6.23 crore as net sales rose 35.95%
