Kroger says the Kroger Rewards World Elite Mastercard program, launched in November 2021 with U.S. Bank, will be phased out this fall. Cardholders have received communications. The program offered cash back on mobile wallet purchases and gas discounts at Kroger fuel centers. Cardholders will be transitioned to a U.S. Bank Smartly Visa while U.S. Bank keeps account ownership, servicing, and ongoing relationships.
