Krispy Kreme Narrows Losses as Revenue Declines in Q2
Krispy Kreme reported Q2 revenue fell 12.8% to $331m, but GAAP net loss narrowed sharply, improving by $421.3m year-on-year. Margins expanded as it refranchised and closed underperforming doors. Adjusted EBITDA rose 43.2% to $28.8m, with nearly all new openings franchised, plus 448 new US retail locations via partnerships. The company guided to systemwide sales growth of 2%–4% and positive free cash flow.
