Kia EV3 boosts Kia-Hyundai EV sales in Europe as Hyundai slips
Kia and Hyundai sold a combined 131,032 EVs in Europe in H1 2026, surpassing 100,000 for the first time, but the figures hide a split. Hyundai registrations fell 8.7%, blamed on a missing B-segment small EV that Chinese rivals filled. Kia’s EV3 delivered 27,121 units and became the top seller within the group’s 14-model lineup, while overall share edged down from about 7.9% to 7.4%.
